Our last “Tidbits” announced the retirement of founder, Ana Lucore as well as her engagement. On May 17th, Ana officially retired from CEO and President of the Corporation, while still retaining her position on the Board of Directors. At that time, Kathy Stevens was appointed as CEO and President. In case you don’t know her, here is her introduction in her own words.
I have been married to my husband, Mark for 39 years. We have three daughters and six grandchildren. I have taught Sunday School and VBS and served in many different capacities in local churches and the Cochise Baptist Association. I have an AA from Cochise College in Sign Language Interpretation and a BA from Wayland Baptist University in Human Services. I have served on the Board of Directors for 21 years and have been on staff since 2012 as Program Director. In my time as Program Director, I have also served as acting CEO in Ana’s absences, such as her extended trip to Israel and visits to New York to see her family. I am very familiar with the day-to-day operation of the Ranch and am fully prepared to step into her shoes full-time.
If you have any questions about any of these changes or the mission of the Ranch, please feel free to reach out to me. Sincerely, Kathy Stevens Kstevens.hisranch@qwestoffice.net 520-686-0001 (cell)
